| Summary | 0010195: Software Volume control needed for some devices | ||||
| Description | Some devices such as the Kindle Fire don't have a physical volume control, which means users have to exit mma to adjust the volume! Possible implementation options: 1) On the NP:Art screen, display a volume slider between the shuffle and repeat icons 2) On the NP:Art screen, display a button on the right side of the action bar that triggers the display of a volume slider 3) On the NP:Art screen, add a new up/down guessture to change volume. The third option is probably best since it requires no new new graphical UI elements (other than an indicator/toast for volume: xx%) and since it meets a request for this functionality in order to adjust volume easily in a handsfree environment. | ||||
