Summary | 0020715: Casting to MMW: deletes playing list & stop button doesn't work
Description | If an MMA user casts to MMW via UPnP then: a) the Playing list always shows just a single track, replacing the previously loaded playing list. Unless MMW can somehow load the full list of tracks, this seems to serve no purpose other than deleting the Playing list. Would it make sense to just show the playing track in the Player? b) The Player has the 'Stop' button enabled, but if the user presses STOP it doesn't actually stop playback--the next track starts playing. Should it be greyed out?

I do not think that MM5 is the problem, I get same thing when casting MMA to Samsung TV, looks like playlist is not sent. |
|
My point is that: a) if the playlist isn't sent then MM5 should play the content but not replace the Playing list since repeatedly replacing the playing list with a single track serves no purpose b) If the STOP button doesn't stop playback then why bother showing it as active |
|
a) Totally Agree, if MM5 receive only single track as renderer (cast MMA -> MM5) then Now Playing should not be changed at all Only player will Show Metadata of cast track. b) For me STOP button works, but in cases where it does not it should be disable I doubt that could know if STOP button works or not @Ludek? NOTE: Most Players I have tested do not have SYOP button at all only PLAY/PAUSE |

Fixed in build 3004 i.e. Playing list is now preserved and stop/previous/next buttons are disabled.. |
