| Description | Since we're adding support for these tag formats, we should include input plugins for the player: FLAC: Version 1.1.0 is the last official release (although it's a bit dated). Unfortunately the winamp plug-in is GPL--see license below (from: http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html) : I'm written to Josh Coalson asking for permission to redistribute the WA plug-in. ============ FLAC - 1.1.0 ============ This is the Win32 binary release for the FLAC project. The reference encoder/decoder libraries (libFLAC, libFLAC++, libOggFLAC, libOggFLAC++) are released under the LGPL (see COPYING.LGPL). All programs and plugins are released under the GPL (see COPYING.GPL). Based on Josh's previous answer and his lack of an answer to this query, I don't expect that I'll have any luck on this issue. Note: there is another decoder by someone named Giacomo Margarito, however, I cannot find an address for him or any sources for the plugin--the only place where it's referenced is on the Winamp plugins page. Re-assigning to Jiri, hopefully it's a simple task. |
