Summary | 0000757: WinAmp simulation isn't correct
Description | When solving problem of showing lyrics for the currently playing track (with EvilLabs) it became apparent that the main WinAmp simulation window isn't properly created in the current version.

Fixed in build | |||||
Fixed in build 582. - The window (invisible) is properly created, it could also fix some other problems we have recently had with plug-ins, but not necessarily. |
This has been partially fixed. Now third-party apps/plugins seem to recognize that MM is playing a track, however, the apps/plugins think that MM is playing a track called 'MediaMonkey' everytime. e.g. Evil Lyrics looks up the lyrics to what it thinks is a song called 'MediaMonkey'. Note also that this bug manifested itself previously with Visualization Plugins (e.g. Geiss always showed MediaMonkey playing). Note that AudioScrobbler still does not function at all. My guess is that it's related to the fact that Title and Time Played/Remaining information isn't made available to the plug-in as it is with Winamp (AudioScrobbler doesn't seem to perceive whenever a new track is played in MM). |
Fixed in build 583. - I managed to let other apps to see the hidden window title and thus now even EvilLyrics works. I don't know why Audioscrobbler, probably uses some not common interface, but I don't think it's too important now. |
Tested in 583. Works perfectly with Evil Lyrics. It doesn't work though with either Geiss or AudioScrobbler. We don't have to fix the remaining issues for the 2.0.2 release. |
Need to verify if there are still problems with audioscrobbler. |

Also use http://www.owenrudge.net/utils/winampcc to test. |
I have tested WinampCC 1.4 and it worked OK on 2.2.2.781 and 790. It needs to change line path in configuration to Mediamonkey.exe path and the it works. Note: This is very Simple App which can be made by ourself easyly. |

This has been previously fixed. |
