| Summary | 0007407: In some circumstances, MediaMonkey generates endless AVs on startup | ||||
| Description | This is a problem that has been reported by Roving Cowboy, and I experienced it for the first time today; MediaMonkey generates endless AVs upon running it, and it has to be shut down via the task manager. I submitted 2 such AVs at ~1:20am. The first was generated on a standard install. The second generated after uninstalling MM4, cleaning out the app data directories, and then re-installing it. Finally, I was able to solve the problem by Installing MM3 (it ran normally), then uninstalling MM3, and then re-installing MM4. My suspicion is that a previous install of MM3 left something in the registry that was causing the endless AVs, and doing an MM3 uninstall corrected that issue. | ||||
