On a playlist having two references to a single track file, I see that Auto-sync creates on the device a playlist having two references to a single track file. This works fine. This is what I would expect. I see nothing to suggest that the non-creation of a second copy of the track file is a failure. |

As discussed on the forum thread, not everyone uses playlists and thus an option to force copying of duplicates would serve those who do actually want duplicate copies of the same track on their portable device. |

Ok, so it seems that this essentially is about the fact that MM should create duplicates in case when target masks suggests so? I.e. when there's a mask (be it Auto-sync or Burning) like: <Autonumber> or <Random>, duplicates should be created. |

Verified on 1615 that <Auto Number> - $Trim(<Artist:20>) - $Trim(<Title:50>) creates duplicate files on Clip+ as expected. |
