Generally speaking I agree, my only concern is that as reported in 0003876, the test for extension is currently rather slow operation and so it would possibly make sense to defer this past 3.0. Assigning to Rusty for a review, let's discuss over IM. |

I suggest deferring if this will slow down sync speeds in general (i.e. the current situation will only cause problems for a few people, and can be fixed by modifying the filter criteria). |

Just for information: I've done a test with the really big DB (283 MB) and switching to AB tab on sync-list takes 2,5 seconds (after adding the criteria Type='M4B' ) instead of current 1,5 seconds (takes half time of the previous query). It is quite significant slowing => The deffering makes sense. Once we resolve 0003876 we can add this criteria. |
