Summary0003461: Numeric Keypad shortcuts are missing
DescriptionMediaMonkey previously had numeric keypad shortcuts that were fairly useful for keyboards lacking multimedia keys.

These shortcuts have been removed in the latest version(part of bug 0000656), but there should have been a way to retain them via hotkeys. Is it possible to add them as default hotkeys? (i tried doing this, but the hotkeys functionality didn't seem to be able to distinguish between numlock on and numlock off).

Notes from online help re. the hotkeys implementation in 2.5.5:

You can also access the player commands using the numeric keypad. This is useful if you don't have a multimedia keyboard, and don't want to have to press multiple keys to control the player. By default, these shortcuts are active when the numeric keypad is disabled (i.e. when Num Lock is off :

Play (selected Tracks) Now (can be changed by modifying 'Double-click action') <Enter> (numeric pad)
Play/Pause <0> (numeric pad)
Stop <.> (numeric pad)
Previous Track <7> (numeric pad)
Next Track <9> (numeric pad)
Back 5 seconds <1> (numeric pad)
Forward 5 seconds <3> (numeric pad)
Volume Up <8> (numeric pad)
Volume Down <2> (numeric pad)
Balance Left <4> (numeric pad)
Balance Right <6> (numeric pad)
Balance Center <5> (numeric pad)
Show 'Now Playing' <+> (numeric pad)

I don't think that it's too important and don't see an easy way how to support this feature in MM 3.0. I'd suggest to defer it and see whether some users miss it at all...

This feature still exists, it can be turned on in MediaMonkey.ini file in

[Options]
PlaybackControl=x

where x means:
0 - turn off
1 - Use numeric keyboard with Ctrl key
2 - Use numeric keyboard when Num Lock is on
3 - Use numeric keyboard when Num Lock is off
