| Description | 'When new episodes are available - Download all' downloads all episodes instead of only downloading all _new_ episodes. To clarify: - When the user first subscribes to a podcast, all the episodes are downloaded, as would be expected. - BUT, after the user has listened to some of the episodes and they've been automatically or manually deleted, MediaMonkey re-downloads those episodes again. What should happen is that MM should only download episodes that are newer than the last downloaded episode in that subscription. The only problem with this approach is that if there are no downloaded episodes in the subscription (because they've been deleted) then MM has no way of 'knowing' which is the most recent episode. Thus we may have to track this in the DB. | ||||

Btw. there have been only a filter so that episodes that should be immediatelly deleted were not needlessly downloaded. But what is important - I used a similar approach to what you are suggesting: Once an episode is downloaded it cannot be never downloaded _automatically_ again. It can be re-downloaded only manually. This is fixed in build 1043. |
