| Description | A user indicated in his email that burn process of an Audio CD is always closing the disc although 'Allow further writing' had been set on the final screen of the Burning Wizard. I've tested it and it seems to be true. | ||||

Oh, sorry. There is my test correction: Neither MM nor hpCDe's sample apps closes disc when TAO method is selected. If DAO is selected then both always closes an audio CD. |

Unfortunatelly neither MM nor Nero can add a non-audio data like mp3 files to the opened audio CD. HpCDe's sample apps. can add only audio tracks too. It looks like that an audio CD session can be merged only with another audio CD session. So I guess that there is nothing I can do about this :-( |

See my another test: There is possible to burn a CD-Extra by using hpCDe's sample apps, but there needs to be [ ]Load last track unchecked in Multisession part of data burner if we want to add a data files to the audio CD. So we should either do [x]Merge last track configurable again or prevent showing an error when a last track is not loaded successfuly. (i.e. an audio session cannot be merged with a data session). |

I've resolved this problem another (maybe better) way. When the inserted CD is an opened audio CD then the last track is not merged in case of data burning and data files are added successfuly (i.e. CD-Extra is successfuly created). Fixed in revision 1498. |

I'm not quite sure I understand what has been changed here or if this has been fixed. I still found that there are some circumstances in which the user can create an unfinalized Audio CD that seems to have been 'finalized'. i.e. Burn Audio CD with: CD Text, DAO, Allow more writing --> a) Attempt to subsequently burn Audio to the CD fails since Audio CD can only be burnt to a blank dis b) Attempt to subsequently burn Data to the CD fails--MM gives an error message that no space is available even though plenty of space is available. This would seem to imply that MM should just disable 'Allow further writing' for an Audio CD that is burnt TAO. Please clarify, or fix as appropriate. |

Yes, the clarification is: 1.If you have successfuly burnt an audio CD by using ('allow further writing', TAO) then you can add a DATA (e.g. MP3s) to this CD and create a CD-Extra this way (mixed audio and data). 2. You are right that 'allow further writing' should be disabled in case of DAO is set for an audio CD so that a user would see that it is not an allowed combination. => This missing visual feedback added in build 1027. |
