1. Fixed in 3527 i.e. the [Settings..] button is not shown at all when the 'Column settings' is opened from Options > Layout > 'Playing' list > gear button 2. This looks fine and does not need a change IMO -- or rather is very low priority issue |

2. How this screenshot looks fine? How about the fact that if I close the last opened Options dialog box, all the previous dialogs will be modeless? What happens if I made some changes in one of these dialogs and confirm on Ok, will that confirm changes made in other previously opened dialogs? And what is the purpose to open the Skin page of the Options dialog when I click on the gear icon next to the Waveform bar at all? The related Waveform height setting on that page is not obvious immediately (unless you scroll that page), and only your native skins have it anyway. It would be better if you just remove that icon and add a note instead telling that the Waveform height option is available on the Skin page. Or, you should implement the same solution that you have with the Playback rules link on the Player page next to the Default 'Play now' action drop-down -> when you click on that link, the Playback rules page is displayed in the same dialog box. So, just replace the gear icon with the Waveform height link. And make sure it is displayed only if the current skin has that option. |
