| Summary | 0022434: Title bar of Full window should have displayed menu button, Filename.ext of playing file and program name | ||||
| Description | The title bar of Full window option of Playing node, Visualization and playing video in Preview panel is inconsistent: 1. when switched from normal window to Full window, it is empty; 2. when switched from Full screen to Full window, it displays the menu bar. My suggestion is that the menu bar is always visible, even when switching from normal window, and to add Filename.ext of playing file - program name centered between menu and Minimize control button. Actually, I would prefer the sandwich menu button instead of the full menu bar, even if View / Menu bar is toggled on and even if there is enough space for the Filename.ext and program name. You could display Track Summary (e.g. Artist - Title) instead of Filename.ext, but maybe Filename.ext is better because Artist - Title is probably already displayed somewhere in the main panel, e.g. for Album Art view of Playing node or Artwork Visualization; Another reason to use Filename.ext is that Artist and/or Title tags are not always assigned to files, especially for video files, but that could be resolved with a more complex Track Summary than the default one. MPC, PotPlayer and KMPlayer display filename.ext in the title bar, VLC displays it for video files. | ||||
