| Summary | 0022403: Add Update while editing option to AutoPlaylist Criteria | ||||
| Description | 1) With large Libraries starting a new AutoPlaylist can result in slow reading while setting up an AutoPlaylist. An option to have the loading of files happen when the Settings are saved would improve this process. The option needs to be in the AutoPlaylist Criteria as sometimes the user will want to see the AutoPlaylist refreshed as Criteria are modified, whereas sometimes the user doesn't. 1a) I'm suggesting the setting to be global (ie. if turned off in an AutoPlaylist, it's turned of in all), and not a per AutoPlaylist setting. 2) When a new AutoPlaylist is created, the filelist should remain empty and perhaps have a message that user needs to set Criteria to show files on the AutoPlaylist. This again prevents slow reading of large Libraries, and would give the chance to the user to disable the option to refresh as Criteria are set. If the user selects an existing AutoPlaylist with no Criteria/Sorting/Selected set it would load the full Library as expected. The combination of these would improve the user experience when using AutoPlaylists with large Libraries. | ||||
