If running compression as a background task isn't feasible, it would be great if the backup can be cancelled. This is particularly useful during auto-backup run at startup, as it delays the user from being able to use MediaMonkey. |

This worked great on 3521. However it may not be clear to the user that the foreground database backup has moved to a background compressing job, Not sure how to make this better though. |

There is a small regression though, "Backup complete!" dialog is now shown even when backup is scheduled and run automatically, this shouldn't happen! image.png (6,805 bytes) |
