| Summary | 0021967: Equalizer presets not usable / lock UI / missing window controls | ||||
| Description | In MMM, if the user attempts to use the equalizer -->A - Finder opens in whatever folder was last used. User has no idea what to do. This should be changed in MMW and MMM--users shouldn't have to navigate a filesystem in order to load a preset. If the user then cancels out of the Finder dialog --> Focus shifts back to the equalzer dialog and it becomes blank! Tested MMM build 3500. | ||||

Per IM, we'll store at AppData\MediaMonkey5\Equalizer for Windows, similarly for Mac. |

Tested build 4/15. As in earlier builds, 'Load Preset...' opens a directory that has nothing to do with equalizer settings and the user has no idea how to proceed. |

Cannot be tested until 0022071 is fixed. |

Tested 3500 4/27 following the fix to 22071. Unfortunately, this issue is even more severe now: 1) The original issue remains. i.e. when attempting to Load a preset, Finder opens in whatever folder was last used. User has no idea how to proceed to choose a preset. As I indicated earlier, this would ideally be fixed by storing equalizer config within MM config files and _not_ in the file system. 2) If the user tries to enable the equalizer after cancelling out of the Finder dialog --> The dialog is non-responsive! --> The only way to exit is to close MMM, however, it must be force-closed! 3) Once the equalizer dialog has been opened, there's no way to close it as there are no windowing controls! |
