| Summary | 0021883: MiniPlayer position lost when viewing Playing | ||||
| Description | When you position the MiniPlayer near the bottom of the screen and use View Playing button the MiniPlayer is moved up to accommodate the Playing Queue below it. When closing the Playing Queue the MiniPlayer is not moved back down, but instead remains in it's new position. Solutions: 1. Show the Playing Queue above the MiniPlayer if the space below the MiniPlayer isn't sufficient to display the Playing Queue. 2. Remember the MiniPlayer's original position and restore it back after closing the Playing Queue. | ||||

I suspect that the suggested approach might be problematic from an implementation perspective (window management, positioning, positioning after restart, etc.). An alternate approach would be to cause the playing list to open differently depending on the position of the miniplayer: - If the miniplayer is positioned such that there's enough room below it for the playing list to open to its last size, then open the list below - if the miniplayer is positioned such that there isn't enough space below it for the playing list to open to its last size, then open the list above |
