| Summary | 0021723: Playlist modifications in MMW aren't being synced (regression) | ||||
| Description | When I modify a playlist in MMW (e.g. by adding new tracks), the changes do not propagate to MMA on sync! | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1 Add Playlists > Test Playlists > Volume test to the sync list 2 Initiate Wi-Fi sync --> tracks sync successfully to MMA 3 In MMW add several tracks to the playlist and/or change the order of tracks 4 In MMA initiate Wi-Fi sync --> The playlist 'Volume test' isn't updated! Martin indicated that the issue is related to the 'Volume test' playlist. However when I sync that playlist to a different device, it synced successfully--but only after a removed 'Sixteen tons' from the playlist. On the initial sync that track failed to sync, and so I removed it from the playlist. After removing it, it synced! Could it be that tracks that fail to sync are somehow interfering with Playlist synchronization? |

As described at 0021685, upon removing a problematic playlist (that contained only radio stream 'tracks'), this issue stopped occurring! This lends further support to the hypothesis at 0021723:0079309 -- that some change in MMW/MMA is causing erroneous situations to interfere with playlist synchronization. |
