| Description | As indicated by LL, when conversion dialogs use a setting of 'default' it's unclear what it means. Most would interpret it to mean 'default settings of the codec', but if it actually means 'use the same settings as the source file' then the current language is misleading. In that case, 'Same as source' would be more appropriate. | ||||

We could also use 'Source', 'Original', or 'Original value' both of which are shorter and already existing strings. |

Fixed in build 3154, used "Original", we already use it in video conversions. The AAC codec is fixed as 0021594 and will be included in the next codec pack version. |
