| Description | Currently when you Lock screen while playing Video MMA stops playback, but still shows lock screen player. Pressing Play on lock screen player do not do anything. We should consider making override in options as some users would like to listen Videos in background. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. play video in MMA 2. Press Power to turn screen off and lock screen 3. Press power to turn screen on (MMA player shows) 4. Press play on player -> Nothing 5. Unlock screen Playback continue is MMA was focused Tested on Motorola Edge 40 Android 14. | ||||

An even simpler usecase: Play a video and then switch to another app. The user might want MMA to continue playing the audio in the background. This could be an option enabled by: Options > Playback > Playback : Play videos in background [Plays the audio of a video when it isn't displayed in the foreground] |
