I'm not sure that this makes sense. Sometimes a filter is constructed to be used across multiple views. e.g. If tracks in the current view don't contain ratings = 3, but the user constructs a filter for Ratings => 3. |

I think it makes sense, but maybe for certain fields (Rating excluded). In the example the Filter is used in the Podcast Collection, thus only Podcast files would ever match the filter. It'd be similar in that you can't setup a Filter for matches to values not in the MediaMonkey Library. On large Libraries it would be tedious to get to the correct values if full Library values are displayed. An example is Entire Library has 14000 Album Artists, whereas Podcasts has just 2. |
