Summary0000207: Library/Location/CD/all nodes aren't useful, but add danger
DescriptionCurrently, any CD sub to Library/Location, has a node called 'all', under which there are nodes for albums and/or artist.

These, however, simply contain the same songs as are contained within the original CD! So there is no real use for having them.

Moreover, these nodes are dangerous, because if the user attempts to delete the Artist, then _all_ songs by the artist can be deleted.

Recommendation: remove these nodes from under the CD nodes.

The 'all' node is very useful for data CDs, not so much for audio CDs, but I am not sure whether removing it for audio CDs only is a good idea.

I agree that there is the problem with deleting, but the same problem is in other nodes where artists exist (e.g. genre). I would prefer to disable delete for such artists node and allow it for the artists in 'Artist' node, because for the others it isn't clear what the action should really do.

Now I understand--I was thinking only about audio CDs.

I would suggest that the solution to the problem is not to disable deletion, but to only delete whatever appears in the right-hand pane--I think that this is what the user would expect.

That's definitely possible, but it is probably a bit confusing that user deletes artist, but it is actually still there (in other nodes), but only with songs that were not shown in the songlist. However the current solution has the problem discussed above. Therefore I proposed to disable delete completely and force user to remove the songs on the right side.

OK (I assume this means that node deletion is prevented--file deletion/movement is still allowed).
