| Description | In MMA 2, the decision was taken to always display ratings on the Playing > Art screen (since in MMA 1.x, it wasn't obvious to many users how to rate tracks). As part of this change, the sizing of the ratings was reduced somewhat (mainly so that on small devices which can only fit ratings if they're superimposed on the artwork, the artwork isn't blocked that much by the rating). Some users have complained about the presentation in MMA 2 (they don't like that 1/5 of the artwork is greyed out, and would prefer that the stars be displayed without greying out the image), but many more have complained that it's difficult to change ratings because: a) they have large fingers b) it requires too much concentration while driving Possible solutions: - Increase the size of the ratings slightly, but get rid of the grey background (use colors that contrast with the artwork image in cases where the rating is superimposed) - Scale ratings swipes across the full width of the screen (instead of the width of the ratings). EDIT @Peke - Make Up/Down Swipe (not utilized in player atm) to change Rating by 1 Star and make swipe area width full screen so user can execute swipe anywhere in the rating raw. | ||||
