Summary0019383: Edits to read-only tracks appear to succeed if the track is playing (regression 2660)
DescriptionIf the user edits the properties of a read-only track while the track is playing, the properties appear to update (even though they don't) and once playback advances to the next track, the user is prompted whether to edit the read-only track. e.g.

1 For a track in the MM library, open the folder in Windows File Explorer and set the file's attribute to Read-only.
2 In MM double-click the track to initiate playback
3 While playing, attempt to edit the Title
--> The title is edited! User expects to be prompted whether to update the tag of a read only track
4 Wait until playback completes
--> The dialog prompting whether to edit the properties of a read-only track appears! But at this point the user is confused since they're not performing any edits at this time!
TagsNo tags attached.

This is Michal's regression introduced by fixing 0017180 -- SVN revision 39973

i.e. the track is tagged once playback of the track ends --> thus also the read-only message is shown later on tagging.
