Summary0019190: Edit Properties For Multiple Files dbox: alteration to "Play Counter" is confusing
DescriptionWhen multiple tracks are selected. the File Properties dbox displays *the sum* of all plays for the selected tracks.
The field is editable.
If the user makes a change, the supplied value is written to each of the tracks.

Steps To ReproduceExample:
* select two tracks, each of which have 3 plays
* File Properties shows Play Count = 6
* User changes from 6 to 9
* MM updates each track to have a Play Count of 9
* ==> the total play count of two tracks is now 9*2 = 18 plays

I wonder what the solution should be?

a) make the field non-editable when more tracks are selected ?
OR
b) leave it as is supposing that it can still be useful for some users doing mass edits of Play counter? e.g. edit all to zero for dozen of tracks?
OR
c) handle 'Play counter' field same way as the others fields. i.e. to leave it empty unless the play counter value equals for all tracks in the selection?

Approach c) seems logical to me. It allows users to make mass edits, and eliminates the confusion caused by summing the play counts.

(c) has the advantage of being consistent with all other fields, which is big plus IMO.
There is some small loss of function, but it is less open to confusion.

(a) would be OK, but that would also be a small loss of function. .. And the field would needed to be moved to the bottom of the panel, with all the other read-only fields.
And if you did that it would more logical if you also summed and displayed the track durations.

(c) seems best to me.
