| Description | Moving from issue 0018392 : The "Frank Zappa" discs has CD-Text included, so MM5 used the metadata from CD-Text. LowLander is true that the CD-Text does not include artist name though (for these particular discs). Both MM4/MM5 performs the CD auto-lookup only when CD-Text isn't included. We might want to add a config for this though to Options > Metadata lookup Audio CD metadata lookup Database: [MusicBrainz] Server name: [musicbrainz.org] [x] Automatically lookup the CD upon inserting -- [x] Prefer CD-Text | ||||

User always right click on Tree an do the FreeDB/MB search or Even Auto tag. I am not sure taht we even add new option, but auto propose FreeDB/MB results if Basic Info is Missing LIke Artist. This is good idea, but, I am more thinking to combine Both in case of Missing Info and show Dialog similar to Auto-Tag where user can controll what info will be imported for CD. Thu not sure if it is worth to invest much time in this. It is really getting hard to get PC case with 5.25" external bay. |
