| Description | Free DB metadata lookup is broken according to numerous tickets and forum reports. I've replicated as follows (initial testing with MM4, though followup with MM5 shows the exact same test results): 1 Verify that MM is set to lookup CD metadata via Freedb (http) 2 Insert CD (line 920) --> There was an error while connecting to Freedb: Socket error 0010061 Connection refused 3 Change config to Musicbrainz (~ Line 1300 ) 4 Insert CD (Line 1725) --> Information received as expected 5 Change config to Freedb (CDDBP) / mb.mediamonkey.com (~ Line 2169 ) 6 Insert CD (Line 2519 ) --> There was an error while connectting to Freedb: Cannot create connection! | ||||

It was caused by backup MB server. It's fixed now. |
