Summary0016682: Sync to local storage folder: file deletion scope is too large
DescriptionIn the course of testing 0016644, I found that MM seemed to be deleting all content from my drive:

1 In Devices & Services, add D:\My Documents\Temp\Testburn as a folder
2 In the sync profile, add a couple of playlists and enable auto-conversion for all audio > 192 kbps (probably not relevant), and enabled 'Delete other files and playlists (unselected Library Files)'
3 Initiate a sync
--> content syncs successfully
4 De-select playlists from the auto-sync list
5 Initiate sync
--> Many tracks are deleted, but those that were pre-existing in the directory weren't delected (even though they exist in the library--it seems that matching wasn't performed).
6 Change the 'Delete other files and playlists' option from 'unselected Library Files' to 'all other media files'
7 Initiate sync
--> MM proceeds to delete gigabytes of files from the PC!

I stopped the process before there was any damage, but it appears that there's an issue. Hopefully the debug log will show what's happening.

Here's a shorter video and log

Note: in this second test, the 'mass deletion' issue occurred even when MM was set to delete 'unselected library files'. I'm not sure what the difference is between the first and second cases, but am hoping that the debug log & video give you enough info.

Verified 2255 (with both 'Unselected Library files' and 'All other media files' options).
