| Description | If a user attempts to delete files from a directory (from the library only) and then rescan the directory (which a user might do to refresh the db), MM scans the wrong directory making it appear as if the files were completely deleted; 1 Go to Music > Location > Drive: > DirA > DirB > DirC [List] 2 Select all the files in the directory and press Delete (from the library only) --> files are removed from the view 3 Press INSERT to Add/Rescan the directory --> Files aren't added ! The reason that the files aren't added is because MM scans Location > Drive:DirC (instead of Drive:DirA/DirB/DirC | ||||

Based on my tests: 1 Go to Music > Location > Drive: > DirA > DirB > DirC [List] 2 Select all the files in the directory and press Delete (from the library only) --> files are removed from the view together with empty folders (nodes in the media tree) and focused the parent Drive:DirA 3 Press INSERT to Add/Rescan the directory => files are added because it scanned whole Drive:DirA But maybe your testing files were deadlinks and therefore were not added again ? |

Assigned back to me: The 'Media Tree' needs to be disabled to reproduce the bug. Changed target to 5.0 as it does not seem to remove empty folders when removing with 'Media Tree' disabled. |

Verified 2233 (now deleting all files in a folder switches views preventing the user from scanning a directory that's no longer in the DB). |
