Summary0016195: Install: Single Install for all users on PC for shared library
DescriptionBased on some users reports I've tested MM service and not sure why it happened service installed and started under different credentials My user is also an Admin on PC, but Service started under virtual System credentials that created new library.

I wonder if there is an way to install and share by default MM5.DB with all the users on PC (other stuff like UI would be user dependent)

The fastest way to do it would be to make MMW start Icon for Portable install into c:\Users\Public\Desktop\ named MediaMonkey Portable as that way all users on PC would have it on Desktop

NOTE: Even Portable folder is deleted On first icon start Windows 10 (7?) prompts for Icon deletion due teh missing Application.

Probably the same issue as 0016280?

I don't see how this is related to 0016280, but currently we

1) don't allow to install the service in Portable mode at all, the [Install service] button is not there.
By installing the service for Portable version would break the version no longer being "portable".
For the same reason we don't show "OS integration" tab in Options (for the Portable version).
This has always been the politic, so not sure whether we want to break it (or modify) somehow now?

2) In the standard version it installs the service for the current user account and allows also other users to access the user's library (even when they are not logged into the account).
I believe that this was the original purpose of the MM service and I don't see a reason to change it now?

I also agree with Ludek that this is not related to 0016280.

Purpose of this is to have Normal Install where MM5.DB will be in c:\Users\Public\MediaMonkey 5\, MediaMonkey Shortcut will be in c:\Users\Public\Desktop\ so that all users can start it and c:\Users\Public\MediaMonkey 5\MM5.DB is loaded so that there is no reason for install service. Windows permissions can handle Extension installs (Prompt for password)
