| Summary | 0015446: Auto-tag: playing tracks causes operations to take MUCH longer | ||||
| Description | If I initiate playback of tracks that are about to be autotagged and then initiate auto-tag for ~10 tracks --> the operation takes about 30 times as long as if playback isn't occurring. See the attached log: With playback: ~30minutes Without playback: ~1 minute (starts at line 16747) | ||||

With latest build Rusty test 15 tracks with results: with playback: 1:28 without playback: 1:07 Difference is probably caused by CPU and HDD utilization. |
|
|
Tested in 2160 and disabling player Vis lowers CPU at time of disable usage by 10-20%. Also Auto lookup of Lyrics and AA makes CPU Usage Higher. test note: Lower CPU Cores Usage to 2 to make test more reliable as for me using all cores makes difference 1-3% which is not measurable. |

Re verified 2170 It is not measurable on my new PC (2700X/M.2 SSD) Can you please confirm improvement. |

Setting this back to 'resolved' since it's been fixed. I'll test it in 2171 (which includes a mass tagging fix). |

Verified 2175. |
