Peke, can you clarify what the issue is? i.e. if two tracks have the same filename, same title, and same album, isn't it reasonable for MM to sync them to the same path (treating them as duplicates)?

or are you saying that they have different filenames?

Does the issue occur with WiFi sync to MMA?

Looks that There are two files with identical metadata when synced to iPod for user show as one.

LOG file show that two files are synced Line 4561 and 4673 and when I try to replicate on my touch they show as two files as they actually are two files synced with same metadata and looks like duplicates but they are completely two different tracks.

I have just tested with the same model as user: Apple iPod Nano 7th gen (model MD481HC) and I cannot replicate the issue, in my case both the "Mantis" songs are visible under the album "2015/07/02 II Boulder Theater, Boulder, CO", asked more info...
