| Description | As discussed, it should be possible for 3rd party devs to add action buttons to MM5. The question is _where_? Currently aside from the Playlist and Podcast nodes, the toolbar doesn't contain action buttons--actions are contained mainly within views/context menus. Possible locations: - Toolbar - Player - Context menu | ||||

I suppose that it would be useful to add toolbar buttons to: 1. Main toolbar - left of the Search toolbar button - for generic, always visible buttons. 2. Main toolbar - left of the View selector button - probably visible in the active node only (e.g. buttons available for Playlists only, etc.) 3. Context menu - possibly I'd consider only 1. as important now, in order to be able to have some often needed commands at hand. |
