Summary0013227: Burn: can fail due the media incompatibility
DescriptionCurrently when burn fail we report generic Error codes returned from Driver/device (eg. 53005), we should try to make those codes more verbose and at least try to give common reasons why they got it.

I was able to replicate this on two of my burners where one could not burn Audio CD and second one burned same cd without problems.

Drive that initially failed to burn burned Audio CDs with different media.

Logs are uploaded.

EDIT: This usually follow burn error 52102

We are adding the error code descriptions from here:
http://users.telenet.be/erik.deppe/troubleshooting_errorcodes.htm

But the 53005 has no description, it is just in the "Illegal request" category

If you are able to find a more descriptive list of the sense error codes let me know.

After few days of testing and using various Medias I have found that 53005 is directly related to hardware capability to burn on specific media type.

Burn Process fail at beginning of burning leadin of audio CD when laser is calibrating for specific CDs. There is no actual burning happen and CD when inserted into another drive burns without any issue.

Problem is not limited to MMW but also happen in Nero, InfraRecorder, Easy CD Burner, VirtualCD, Burn Aware.

Based on my tests 53005 error is hardware based due the inability of Drive firmware to recognize Media Manufacturer Inserted and to calibrate laser for burning

Doing Additional tests and info gathering from tolls listed here https://www.raymond.cc/blog/do-you-know-your-cd-or-dvd-drive-burning-capabilities/

Can you add "Media Burn illegal request" to description?
