Summary0006051: AutoPlay fails due to duplicate entries
DescriptionWhen a CD is inserted, Windows shows autoplay options that include:
Play audio CD
using MediaMonkey

Rip audio CD
using MediaMonkey

Play audio CD
using MediaMonkey

Issue 1: There are multiple duplicate entries in the AutoPlay options list. Note that this is a 2 week old clean install of Windows 7, and I've only been testing MM 3.1.2 builds.

Issue 2: when I click 'Rip audio CD'
--> error dialog appears "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs contol panel.

The problems are particularly nasty because for many user, they just think that MediaMonkey is broken (they don't realize that it's just a problem with the AutoPlay handler).
Additional InformationThere have been reports of issue 1 in the forum and issue 2 in eSupport.

Note: further testing shows that some of the autoplay entries work, and others fail (e.g. of the 2 'play' entries, one worked and one failed).

Petr, please check this out on Win7 - maybe some problem with registered filenames? Or skinned vs. non-skinned version? However, I'd expect both working...
