Summary | 0003284: auto show now playing pane on track dragging
Description | When the now playing pane is hidden, it would be really handy if the program would detect when a tracks was being dragged. They way, as soon as you start dragging a track, the now playing list appears... when you let go of the track, the now playing list dissapears. therefore... with the list hidden, you can drag a track to the suddenly visible NP list, drop it where you want, and then the list disappears again. this should probably be an option but I can't imagine anyone drags tracks when the NP pane is not visible for anything else. I would imagine this should be easy to implement, however, if it's not going to be done for 3.0... allowing scripters to detect when a track starts and stops dragging will allow them to easily create it. (with the well organised and auto installed scripting abilities now... it might be worth just leaving it for the scripters... but please make sure these events are available) fyi. I thought of this while watching a video demo of microsoft surface - it looks like that's what they're player does. in a more "fluffy" way: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/
