DescriptionIf the user tries to play a track that is on an MTP device using MM, the track gets greyed out in MM. It should play.

Jiri, could you please test with a MTP device without drive letter. For MTP devices with drive letter, iPods and iPhones it works fine.

This can't be fixed - we try to read the file from the device, but it seems that this method isn't implemented for most MTP devices and so the file can't be played back (or synchronized back to PC).

This comes up in support tickets fairly frequently. Is there a reason that WMP can play tracks back on these devices but MM can't?

There shouldn't be such a device. If there is such a device that WMP can play back from and MM can't, then it should be further investigated.
