0021992: Send-to MRU list sometimes shows "Send to undefined"

Send to > 'Recently used' sometimes shows 'Send to undefined' after using the Send-to functionality. e.g.
1 Use Send to > Playlist > New Playlist > Test list
2 Attempt to use Send to > Recently used > 'Send to undefined' appears
3 Use 'Send to undefined'
--> MMM sends the track to the playlist 'Test list' and opens it (as it should)! i.e. it functions correctly but the MRU entry displays incorrectly. I suspect that it was somehow triggered by one of many MMM exceptions, but it shouldn't be possible for this to occur, and at the very least, it should self-correct.

0022063: Volume slider can have no effect

If the user adjusts macOS volume using the volume keys, then MMM's volume slider has no effect:

1 Play a track so that it's audible (volume level ~5)
2 On the macbook keyboard, press the Reduce Volume key until the volume is at 0
--> volume is inaudible
3 In MMM increase the volume slider from 0 to 5
--> volume remains inaudible!

0022060: Exception dialogs are sometimes too large to send making it impossible to close MMM

This issue was originally raised as item 53 at 0021646 and fixed.

However, the problem still occurs as described at 0021984, issue cii)

In that case, an exception is triggered by attempting to close a modal dialog, and the resultant exception dialog is too large to display the buttons, thereby causing the dialog to block termination of MMM.

Is it possible for exception dialogs to include Window control buttons so that the user can close them even if the bottom of the dialog isn't visible?

0022057: Context menus usually don't work

Context menus seem to be broken in the latest build
1 Move the cursor onto a track
2 Press CTRL and click the mouse button
--> Context menu flashes and disappears! What is expected is that the menu is displayed and the user should be able to select which contextual command to use.

Note:
- If the user holds down the mouse button, the menu remains displayed, but it's still impossible to choose a contextual command as they're all disabled.
- The problems occur for items in the tracklist, but not for items in the Playing list. For the Playing list, context menus sometimes work, and other times result in an error 'Please select one of more files for this operation'.
- The issue sometimes occurs and sometimes doesn't occur:
-- If it occurs in a remote access window, then it doesn't occur on the device
-- If it occurs on the device, then it doesn't occur on the remote access window

0021967: Equalizer presets not usable / cause equalizer to go blank

In MMM, if the user attempts to use the equalizer
-->A - Finder opens in whatever folder was last used. User has no idea what to do.
This should be changed in MMW and MMM--users shouldn't have to navigate a filesystem in order to load a preset.

If the user then cancels out of the Finder dialog
--> Focus shifts back to the equalzer dialog and it becomes blank!

Tested MMM build 3500.

0021994: Delete fails to offer deletion options

When the user attempts to delete tracks via the context menu in the Playing list, the user is presented with deletion options as is expected.

BUT:
1) In library nodes, MMM always permanently deletes tracks (instead of offering whether to delete from the Library or from the Library and DB)
2) In playlist nodes MMM always permanently deletes tracks (instead of offering whether to delete from the Playlist only, Playlist and Library only, or Playlist Library and DB)

0021985: Running Apple Music causes duplicates

Running Apple 'Music', by default causes all tracks manually copied to the /Music directory to be duplicated at .../Music/Media.localized/ resulting in deplicates in the MMW library. I'm not sure what the best solution would be, but it might be a good idea to:
- Implement 0018212 and by default exclude the /Media.localized directory
- If the above is too difficult, then:
- Warn users before the initial scan that:
Warning! Apple Music, will by default create duplicates of Music tracks in the /Media.localized directory which will cause duplicates to appear in the MediaMonkey directory. To prevent this, in Apple Music > Music > Settings > Files:
Disable both 'Keep Media folder organized' and 'Copy files to Media folder when adding to library'
- Create a KB article explaining how to delete the duplicate tracks that many users will find if they even run 'Music'

0021969: Hotkey / Shorcut / Media key issues

In MMM there are a number of issues with hotkeys and other shortcuts:

a) SPACE doesn't work for Play/Pause. This is probably doesn't need to be fixed since all of the mac keyboards that I've seen have media player keys, including a Play/Pause button. BUT, there is a major problem that Play/Pause doesn't seem to work (it causes Apple's Music Player to open on my machine).

b) Media Player buttons NEXT and PREVIOUS don't work

c) Default keyboard shortcuts don't match Apple conventions
COMMAND - O - Open the file
COMMAND - Q (MMM)/ CTRL - X (MMW) - Quit the app [we would have to change the current Tag from filename from CTRL-Q to e.g. CTRL-S and Update tags from CTRL-S to CTRL-U---does that seem like a good approach for both MMW and MMM?]
COMMAND - , - Settings
COMMAND - T - New Tab (makes sense for MMW as well)

0021981: Back/Forward View Navigation doesn't work

In MMM, navigation between recently visited views doesn't work.
In Windows this is done with ALT-RIGHT ARROW / ALT-LEFT ARROW
On MacOS this should be done with CMD-RIGHT ARROW / CMD-LEFT ARROW

Keyboard delete functionality (COMMAND BACKSPACE) doesn't when attempting to delete a track or multiple tracks.

1) Like MMW/MMA, users should be able to include contact info and details about what triggered the error before they're submitted.

2) Moreover, it would be useful if users could manually trigger an error log submission like in MMA for cases where a crashlog isn't submitted automatically.

0021991: Navigating between Tabs/Views triggers a crash

Switching back and forth between 2 tabs after navigating between nodes/views within one of the tabs --> Exception (inconsistently replicable) and MMM shuts down.
Application throw an exception Exception EAccessViolation in module MediaMonkey at 0000000100343B11.
Access violation at address 000000010032509E, accessing address 0000000000000010.

Note: it's not always the same exception, but exceptions tend to occur after navigating between nodes/views/tabs for a minute or so. My suspicion is that it's related to opening popups and then switching nodes/tabs, but I'm not sure as it's quite inconsistent. Also, fyi, in many of the cases in which this occurs, the Exception is not sent successfully, and occasionally, MMM will just shut down without even triggering an exception.

0021989: Editing read-only tracks fails

When attempting to edit the tag of a read-only track, MMM prompts whether to go ahead with the change as expected, but then fails with the error "The read-only attribute cannot be removed from the file /Users/kids/Music/Music/Media.localized/Music/The Penguins/Earth Angel_Hey Senorita/151 Earth Angel.mp3".

Note: this issue occurs with all read-only files (not just those in /Media.localized).

0021988: Addon installation issues

When installing (or uninstalling) an extension, MMM requests to restart but then:
- causes a terminal window to open (and not close)
- asks to grant the Terminal window Accessibility permissions (highly unusual)
- Generates a dialog that 'MediaMonkey quit unexpectedly' [Re-open] [Report] [Ignore] (even though MMM already appears to be running)!
- Closing the terminal Window causes MMM to close, but Force-Quit must then be used to close MMM since it doesn't terminate properly
- For newly-installed addons that should work after the Force-quit (e.g. 'Pulsing Pause'), upon restarting MMM after the 'Force-quit', the addon still doesn't work. Often, a second 'normal' restart is required before the addon starts to function correctly.

0021984: Modal dialogs aren't handled correctly

Ttested with Properties and Convert... but it probably occurs with others :
a) Closing MediaMonkey with modal dialog active works (it shouldn't--the user should have to close the dialog first). Moreover when MM is closed, playback continues as the modal dialog remains open!
b) Modal dialogs become 'hidden' if the user clicks the main MM window (even as the main window is greyed out)! Clicking on the area of the main MM window where the modal dialog had previously displayed causes it to appear temporarily.
EDIT: I noticed this again with the Auto-tag > Album Art dialog used to switch between AA images in the Auto-tag dialog. The modal AA dialog can be lost behind the Auto-tag dialog and behind the main MM window.
c) EDIT: An even worse case of this issue is with 'Organize files'. If the user clicks the 'Configure...' button and then 'Browse' to set a new Main directory, then after clciking 'OK' focus shifts back to the main MMM window and there's no obvious way to continue with the 'Organize files' configuration.

0021857: Playlist status bar doesn't update in response to changes

When Playlist > PlaylistName is displayed, the status bar indicates the number of tracks in the Playlist.

However, if the number of tracks changes, the status bar fails to update. e.g.
a) remove a track from PlaylistName
b) resync the PlaylistName triggering a change in the number of tracks

To get the status bar to indicate the correct number of tracks, the user must exit the node and then re-enter it.

0022054: Modal dialogs that appear automatically, appear in back of the main window

1 If a user running MMW attempts to access MMM's DLNA server
--> The dialog appears in back of the MMM window

2 Clicking anywhere on the main MMM window causes the dialog to appear :
A device....is attempting to access the MediaMonkey Library.
...
Do you want to grant it access?
[Yes] [No]

So in most cases, this isn't a huge issue.
BUT, if the user is accessing MMM via a remote access tool (e.g. RustDesk), then at step 2, the dialog only shows up and remains displayed if the user clicks and holds down the mouse button. Even worse, it's impossible to click the Yes/No buttons (since any attempt to click the buttons causes the dialog to disappear).

0022056: DLNA Server doesn't work / Named incorrectly

Attempting to access the MMM DLNA server using MMW 2.24.2.2 and MMA fails:
1)a The server aften fails to display in MMW/MMA (it appears and disappears).
1)b If the server does display, many nodes are blank e.g.
Music > Artists
Music > Genres
Music > Year
Music > Location
etc....

2) The server is named 'MediaMonkey Library' instead of 'MediaMonkey Library () so it's difficult to know which device this is (for instance in MMW, the server is advertised as 'MediaMonkey Library (Lenovo Yoga....).

0022055: DLNA Client: cannot browse MMW server

The MMM DLNA client can (sometimes) see the MMW DLNA server, but attempts to browse it show no content.

In contrast, MMA can see the MMW server without issues.

2) Clicking 'Devices and Services' --> attempt to connect to DLNA Servers.
Rejecting the connection on the destination server --> Exception in MMM.
Attempts to browse the MMW DLNA server (whether permission has been granted or not) from MMM --> Exception

In some cases Total Time for Now playing can be shown wrong

Even Selection time shows correct values Total Time sometimes shows incorrect values.

I suspect Start/Stop Times are not considered in Total Time

NOTE: Changing Now Playing layout shows correct information.
