We should consider adding Date picker button for Date fields, especially after 0022272 is implemented because users then can customize Date columns showing in UI

Some numeric fields like date that support String values are used by user in specific format, we should make it possible that user enter custom format
eg. " " which would allow MM faster sort and would also make Library values more universal in case user decide to change displaying them in UI.

Some numeric fields that support String values can't be filtered.

Like if Date is formatted " " user can't use that in Auto playlists or search by date as Contains search criteria do not exist.

eg. list all track where date contains "October; April; May; June" and date "1991;1992;1993"

When user disable update tag on properties edit then in case user search and update album art, apron MM restart any change is lost.

MMW tags file even it is disabled in options

Test note: File must not be MMW library for easier replication

1. Disable Update tag on edit (Tools -> Options -> Library -> Tags)
2. Use File -> open to Open sample file from ticket in order not to trigger 0014192
3. Edit Track properties and Delete all album arts except first one which is 173KB
4. Press OK -> MMW do not tag file
5. Use Tools -> Convert Format and use copy not overwrite
6. MMW show Tagging and trigger 0014192 (thus it is notable that MMW changes original file)
7. Starts conversion and if wait enough (due the bug 0014192) it finishes (no bug there in MMW)

NOTE: MMW should not start tagging on original file.

Reported in the forum and I can confirm as well:

The following both fail to lookup in MMA 2
Paula Cole - I Don't Want to Wait (from This Fire)
Paula Cole - Where Have all the Cowboys gone (from This fire)

And the following looks up incorrectly:
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (from the album Black Sabbath)

The same problem occur with 1.4

FLAC support CUESheet natively, but it is ignored by MM and users are expected to have them in extended tags.

Sample file with extreme CUEsheet is added to FTP. If that File CUESHEET data can be read in Extended tags then it is done till full CUESHEET support is added.

IF MM already have mapped drive tracks in library and then rescans drive, in some cases MM adds duplicates because existing Maapped drive tracks are not updated in Library, but instead it just adds new.

Looks like there is space to improve Auto Playlist behavior
1. When Auto Playlists do not have Limits and have Sort order set they do not Auto-Refresh and User needs to enable Limits, set larger limit (eg. like 10k files) and chose select by option with Auto Refresh to get desired results

2. Selected by Sort order (Auto Refresh) do not exists only static one.

3. Option to Set Auto Playlists always Auto Refresh even only sort order is selected.

Many Denon players have issues with Playing files that have large Album art.

We should consider to use UNC path and abandon Handling mapped drives

Delphi have function to check if file is on mapped drive or not

function ExpandUNCFileName(const S: FileName): string;

That will solve all mapped drive issues we have from time to time.

Function would be called for each new drive letter that is scanned and in case it is network share it will replace all subsequntial file scans from same drive with network share info.

0017693: Mass edits: improved handling of situations in which metadata within a field doesn't match

When performing a mass-edits and each track has different values for a given field, it would be better if:
1) The user was notified that attributes don't match by highlighting the fields in some manner. This could be achieved in the same manner as in the auto-tag dialog. There are 3 cases that would need to be handled:
a) the field is empty for some of the tracks
b) the attributes are identical except for case
c) there are conflicting attributes (Currently there's an implicit notification by virtue of an empty field)

The solution in all 3 cases, would be to Display the most common attribute for the field other than "" (in Orange to signify that a change will result) followed by an orange exclamation point (signifying the conflict).

2) The user was able to preferentially choose from among the values that have been entered. So when clicking a combio-box, rather than displaying the full alphabetic list, MM should display the attributes associated with the field (from most to least common), followed by a separator, and then the rest of the list.

If the MediaMonkey Service is running, the MediaMonkey installer throws a bunch of can't replace file errors.

The installer should stop the MediaMonkey Service, install MediaMonkey and restart the MediaMonkey Service
