fyi, I also did an upgrade on Nexus7/JB, but did not experience any such problems.

Try this:
1. Install MMA and Select Open on end
2. As soon as MMA main Window and scan icon still showing click on track name in player
3. If it doesn't crash, click on show now playing
4. it should crash or at least send debug log

Yes--I can replicate using the steps described at 0010213:0033853 above.

Note: Ludek described another new crash in build 78 at 0010200:0033845 . Not sure whether the underlying cause is related...
