Fixed in build 832. - Thanks to some recent bug reports I was able to localize the problem and make some changes in AkRip. Although I wan't able to test the result, it seems the it works fine as confirmed in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3183. I.e. now MM should work fine with USB/Firewire CD-ROM drives and also possibly some problems with internal drives were corrected. Anyway, this fix shouldn't be considered as a final, if hpCDE performs well, we'd possibly like to use it as CD ripping engine in the next version due to its ability to work with wide range of drives even for non-administrators under WinNT+. |
