Summary | 0007726: SamsungTV UPnP problems (regression)
Description | When playing songs over DLNA on a Samsung TV on 1369, MediaMonkey crashes.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||

Fixed in build | 1378 | ||||
It seems to be a regression introduced by http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7489, it crashes when playing back files that get converted (FLAC in test case). Playing MP3 without conversion doesn't crash MediaMonkey |
Should be fixed in 1370. |
Verified in 1371, issue can be closed. |
Please verify in 1373 again (just for sure) |
I saw an AV (elog send) when playing on Samsung and MediaMonkey closed. |
From the attached e-log it seems that the crash isn't related to UPnP, but it is AV when browsing files in Album Art View. I don't see any consequence there, but strangely enough Eureka shows it as consequence in one thread (ID=4032). |
Still crashes on 1376. |
New ELF (Samsung.elf) attached, it indicated an external exception, I tried to add a prevention, please try with these: http://www.happymonkeying.com/beta/MediaMonkey.exe http://www.happymonkeying.com/beta/UPnP.dll One more question: Does it fail occassionally or everytime? Is it related only to the transcoded files? |
Martin confirmed that it no longer crashes with the supplied test files, included the changes in build 1378. |
No longer crashing. |
