Summary0007458: Thumbnails display instead of Video in some cases
DescriptionIn some cases (it seems to be related to cases where the video has a bookmark), upon playing a video immediately after a music file, the video's audio track plays, while the video's thumbnail appears in the Art&Details window.

To reproduce:
1) Enable bookmarking for videos (or use video podcasts which have bookmarking enabled)
2) Configure Videos to play in the Art & Details window
3) Add tracks to the Now Playing list in the following order: music, video, music, video, music, video
4) Play the first track, and press NEXT after several seconds which each track. Move the scroll bar while playing some of the video tracks.
5) Then start playing the tracks again (from Track 1)
--> for some tracks, the thumnail will display while audio plays

The error doesn't occur consistently, but it does seem to be related to whether a bookmark has been generated (i.e. the bug doesn't usually seem to occur the first time a video is played).
Additional InformationOriginally reported at:

Note, though, that the bug is not specific to MP4 or to video podcasts

I'm unable to reproduce on current sources (but also reproduced in 1350). Retest in 1351, please.

Using http://feeds.nos.nl/journaal?format=xml.

1) AutoDJ is on
2) Bookmarking is on
3) Play some music
4) Right click on a file in the Vodcast and select Play Now
5) Video doesn't show, audio of video is heard though

Doing the same with a video in the Video Collection where Bookmarking is on as well the video (AVI) does play.

Playing the same VODcast through the My Computer node does show the video, it doesn't matter if it's set as Type Video Podcast or Video.

On 1373 this issue resurfaced again.
1) Play some audio tracks
2) Right click on video file (tested with MP4 vodcasts) and Play Now
3) Audio sounds, video doesn't show though

I still see the same in 1381. If audio is playing and I select Play Now on a video the video doesn't show. If I then stop playback and start it will show video. Last seen with a MOV file.

I'm able to reproduce this as well:
1) Download a few episodes from http://feeds.nos.nl/journaal?format=xml
2) Configure video to play in Art and Details Window & Select the 'Now Playing' tab in the Art&Details window.
3) Populate the NP list with Music, Vodcast, Music, Vodcast...
4) Play a music file and click 'next' to play a vodcast
-->Vodcast audio plays, but no video
5) Double click the vodcast file directly
-->It plays correctly

Note: the problem doesn't occur with all video formats (couldn't get it to occur with .mov/.avi files, but it was always occuring with the above vodcast).

Note: now I cannot reproduce the bug using debug test build :-( . Reducing the priority, unless someone can figure out how to trigger this.

This is happening on 1383.

1) Play songs (playing non-library FLAC files)
2) Select video (NOS podcast MP4 file)
3a) Right click > Play Now, fails
3b) Right click > Play Next, then use Player Next, works

Which tab is selected in Art & Details doesn't matter.

lowlander, can you reproduce this on a clean install (i.e. after having deleted your db) ? I'm wondering if it's somehow related to bookmarking / play history, because I can no longer reproduce the issue.

Resolving as no one can reproduce. Fell free to reopen when reproduced with latest build (there're some new debug messages).
