| Description | I just tried several methods of 7-Zip and only Deflate and Deflate64 work with MM4 (in v3.2 even Deflate64 is not supported). When I try to install package compressed with unsupported method I receive an "Invalid product install package" message. All such Zip files could be normally opened with Total Commander and other programs. It doesn't matter which Compression level I choose, from Fastest to Ultra. By the way, Magic Nodes add-on is 126 KB in Deflate mode and 95 KB in the best, PPMd mode, which is not insignificant reduction in size using the same, standard Zip format. | ||||

It always worked like this. Petr, ZLib supports only inflate/deflate Windows API methods. We can hardly do something about it without introducing a new third party lib which isn't desired at this point especially if we removed UnZip32.dll finally (0006738) |

It really doesn't seem to be that important. Even though there are better compression types, Deflate is by far the most often used. |
