This was originally designed this way, particularly because of the dynamic width of content of this toolbar. However, it probably is no longer really needed. Petr, can we change this, or is there any technical reason why not?

I don't understand why this is a bug.
The navigation toolbar continually expands/contracts depending on what content is selected, and if icons were allowed to the right, they would continually move around.

The only alterative that I see is to implement the navigation toolbar in the same manner as Win7, and encase the path within a text box. If we did that, then it would be ok to have icons placed to the right of the text box.

I don't think that icons to the right would need to move, simply this toolbar would occupy use all of the space allocated for it, but no more (i.e. wouldn't interfere with other toolbars).

That's said, I think that you are right that this isn't a bug, rather a design decision - and probably not a bad one. Resolving...

I disagree with this design decision as outlined here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=292215#p292215

I think we're going to have to fix this in the future--by migrating to a different style of navigation bar (more similar to the Win7 model).

I assume the same reasoning goes into why the Navigation toolbar can't be put in the Title/Tab bar?
