| Description | We should report this issue to Primo, because the same issue is reproducable with their sample app and we cannot do much about it. Steps to repro: Run DVDBurnerU.exe sample app. Select a folder with some tracks. Insert DVD-RW. Quick format the DVD-RW. Ensure you have '[x] Simulate' checkbox ticked Ensure you have 'Incremental' recording mode selected Click [Burn] -> track are on the disc although simulated burn has been chosen. | |||||

Primo indicated that Simulation on DVD-RW is possible, only when using 'Disc-at-once' method. It seems that we could disable the choice in case of 'Track-at-once' (incremental) method. |

Primo also indicated that this cannot be fixed, because it is a property of the discs itself. Simulation is supported only by DVD-R (all write methods) and DVD-RW Sequential (all methods) media. For formatted DVD-RW (i.e. DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite) and other all other media types, simulation is not supported by the media itself. On CD-R/RW media simulation is possible only for Track-At-Once or Session-At-Once recording. On DVD-R media, simulation is possible only for Incremental or Disc-At-Once recording. On DVD-RW media, simulation is possible only when the media is in sequential recording mode (i.e. when the media profile is MP_DVD_MINUS_RW_SEQ). |

For the media for which the simulation isn't possible the 'Action:' box is now disabled and its value is set to 'Burn'. Fixed in build 1252. |
