| Description | Statistics report doesn't currently utilize several of the constructs used elsewhere in MM: 1. Filters: Reports should be based on the currently active filter. ZvezdanD has created such a script. This would require the following change to the header. MediaMonkey Music Library Statistics --> MediaMonkey Music Library Statistics (<currently active filter name>) 2. Add section for "Composers" i) Top 10 Composers (by # tracks) ii) Top 10 Composers Played | ||||

Note: the above and other issues raised at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=38646 have been fixed in ZvezdanD's update to the Stats script. Perhaps the best approach would be to include ZvesdanD's script if we can use existing localized strings with it. |

I would suggest to defer it post MM 3.1 to MM 4.0 with evaluating what else should (not) be added. For MM 3.1 I would add only the Filter: dropdown, what do you think? |

I don't mind if you include my script with the program. In fact, I will be really glad and it would be a great honor to me. However, we should talk about two things. First, as you already stated, is about localization. I don't know, maybe it is sufficient if I put all strings as arguments to the SDB.Localize function. The second thing we should discus is about my addition of skin styles using .css files and some small bitmaps as backgrounds. So, it is not only one .vbs file which could be included with the program. Well, the script will work without those additional files, but its design is not so consistent with the rest of the program without them, especially with some dark skins like Blue Monkey or Eclipse... By the way, I have created skin style files for 13 skins. |

Apart from the problems reported here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61085 (and the problem that it doesn't support collections) the default statistcs report is really outdated. e.g. It reports "tracks" instead of "files", strings like "MediaMonkey Music Library Statistics" are outdated. I think we should correct it ourself or use the Zvezdan's statistics script asap. |

The incorrect number of playlists is fixed in build 1443. |

Should we add the Zvezdan's statistics script asap? Into MM 4.0.1? Or at least add the script to http://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/browse/management/reports/ |
