Based on log from a user, I'm quite sure that the problem is that we call hpcde routines simultaneously from several threads, a CriticalSection should resolve the issue.

Now, the problem seems to appear only in MM 3.1 and only for the user with more than 2 CPU cores. (Set in options -> Performance -> Use multiple CPU cores -> Ripping: 3)
