| Description | Since skins for MM 3.0 are quite different from those in MM 2.5 and also are no longer in any way related to WinAmp skins, we should change the extension from WSZ to something else. Based on some IM discussions there are several candidates: MMS - probably not a good idea MMT - (MediaMonkey Theme) sounds quite good MSZ - (WSZ modified) sounds good to me | ||||

of the above suggestions, I like: msz since it is the least used. See: http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=msz&Search=Search But why not just use MMIP (bug 0002360) for all MM installation packages? E.g. the user double clicks on the MMIP file and then the skin is auto-installed (i.e. copied to the correct location and enabled). |

As confirmed over IM, we will use MSZ extension. Assigning to Petr to modify this in MM sources and to modify installation files (we can temporarily remove skins that don't support new 3.0 framework). |
