Summary | 0002463: Burning track at once Audio CD inserts 6 seconds between tracks
Description | According to our UI, burning a Track at once audio CD should only insert 2 seconds between tracks. Upon testing this out, though (following a user's complaint), I found that the average time between tracks with this setting is 6-7 seconds! Is there a way to shorten this?

Assigning to Ludek to find out whether there is such a problem. Btw, isn't it caused only by some silence at beginning/end of tracks? |
|
No the problem isn't caused by silence at the beginning/end of tracks. To better describe the problem: -For a track that is listed as 1m0s -When I convert it with MM to a wav file it is still 1m0s -When I burn it with HPcde burner (reference app) TAO it burns it to 1m2s (i.e. it adds 2 s) -When I burn it with MM, it burns it to 1m6s (i.e. it adds 6 seconds) The discrepancy between MM and HPcde Burner reference app is what leads me to believe that MM is doing something strange in terms of how it hands off audio to the hpcde library. |

Fixed in build 963. There was a problem in hpCDe documentation, I had to hunt the bug by testing several options. Now it's ok, TAO audio CD tracks are all only 2 seconds longer, except for the last track that has the correct length. CD burnt by Nero looks exactly the same. |
