| Description | In some cases, the 'in-process' erase function doesn't seem to work. Also, burnt CDs aren't autodetected after the first time a 'TAO-Allow others' cd is burnt. e.g. 1) TAOA (2 tracks by B-52s) -- works 2) TAOA (2 tracks by Beach Boys) -- works but CD is not auto-detected after burn is completed 3) TAOFinal (2 tracks by the Beatles) -- works but CD is not auto-detected 4) TAOA (erase) (2 tracks by Brian Wilson) -- Fails -- CD appears to erase and then 'Burning... (writing)' appears in the status dialog, however, there are no messages about writing each individual track, and when writing is complete, and I examine the CD, it appears as if NONE of the previously written tracks were erased. nothing appears on the CD. Perhaps of greater importance: on one occasion when a new CD was inserted at this point, MM hung. On a second occasion, when the new CD was inserted and MM was used, MM worked fine, however, at that point it became impossible to eject the CD (the CD Eject button on the drive stopped working!!). p.s. What kind of erase operation is triggered by MM? Quick erase or Full erase? A debug log is posted to the ftp server. | ||||

Re: 4) The 'Burning... (writing)' without any additional messages about writing each individual track appears the most of burning time in case of burning small number of the tracks, cause 'Burning... (writing)' appears on close session too, but additional messages should be apperead at least for a while. Re: 'works but CD is not auto-detected' - I meet this not auto-detections in some cases too, but I haven't resolved yet. re: MM hung - Speccially in the build 905 I accidentally caused 'freezing' of burn page for selecting content with checkboxed - I immediately corrected this -> resolved in build 906. But if the 'Erasing...' appears the CD should be 100% erased, try to eject/insert CD for update if you will still see the old content. |

Verified in 906. MM no longer hangs and erase seems to always work. There is another bug, but I'll document it separately. |
