Summary0002056: Burning files from VCD
DescriptionWe should make sure the tracks in Virtual CD can be burned by the new Data CD burning.

I haven't tried this, this bug entry should ensure we don't forget to test it.

I really thanks for this bug, Jiri.
I forgot all about it!

It is fully functional in build 901.

I found that it wasn't resolved for tracks which are only in VCD.
I'm sorry for this, nevertheless
it is fixed in build 912.

Tested in 912 and when I burn a data CD, the directory for the Virtual CD tracks is created, but the tracks aren't actually burnt!

Tested as follows:
-Created playlist with 2 normal tracks and 2 VCD tracks
-Burnt playlist to data disc
-Viewed the created disc and the 2 normal tracks appeared but the 2 VCD tracks didn't

I can't reproduce it.
It is burned correctly for me.

Please, try to reproduce, but really should work fine.

Ludek, I retested this and the bug still occurs. This time I've posted screencaptures and a debug log to the ftp.

On the screencaps you'll see:
a) 4 tracks (from a playlist) are being burned, 2 of which are from the VCD
b) The burnt CD creates the correct directory structure, BUT, it is missing the contents of the directory for tracks by The FIXX (these are the 2 tracks that were stored to the VCD).

The debug log shows:
~line 6000 Play the 4 tracks in the playlist
~line 6500 Burn the 4 tracks
I didn't see anything useful in the debug log, but I did notice that when I burnt the CD, the first 2 tracks (non-VCD) took several seconds each to burn. The last 2 tracks (from the VCD) took almost no time to burn, implying that MM didn't even try to burn them.

Great, I found it in log message. thx.
The problem was that your VCD tracks came from *.cda files and my VCD tracks came from *.mp3 files. i.e. You was trying to burn *.mp3 files with *.cda file extension. There was a need to change the extension. Now, it is obvious. thx. I have corrected it in build 914.
Now, it should work fine for you too. In build 914.
